You have decided that you would like to commission a portrait, so what do you do now? Firstly, find a photograph of your subject, in a pose you love! Think about what size suits you and your budget. Not sure what size will work best for you? Please ask! We want to help in any way we can, to produce the very best representation of your subject. Tell us what you can about the subject, ,and the reason you want a portrait (ie gift, memorial, personal) so that we can make recommendations. Then email us, or call (608) 850-3589 anytime. There is absolutely no obligation to purchase anything at this time. We will review your photos and quote a final price, depending on what you have chosen. Our prices range from $200 to $750 depending on the size, the subject(s) and background selected. Once you have decided to purchase, we will ask you to review and approve a commission contract, and ask you for a 50% good-faith deposit, which will be fully refunded if you are not totally happy with your portrait. Once the deposit is received and the subject matter is agreed upon, we start to paint. Your painting will be completed in a timely fashion, generally within 2 weeks. If it will be longer, we will advise you in advance.
We can do RUSH orders, within reason. We will email you a copy of the finished product for your approval. ONLY when you are happy with the end result, we will ask for the remaining 50% plus shipping, and immediately send out your painting using the shipping method you have chosen. Sound easy??? It really is!! We accept PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Money Orders over the telephone, by email, snail mail or in person. Email your request, or phone us at (608) 850-3589
